Lefteris Manousakis is a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research & Decision Systems (ORDeS) centre at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), School of Business, Department of Management Science and Technology (DMST). He graduated third from DMST in AUEB (2016). He holds an MSc in Computer Science with specialization in Machine Learning (with distinction) from the University of Edinburgh (2017). He has short teaching experience as a tutor in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in DMST and has been a research assistant in Transportation Systems and Logistics Laboratory (TRANSLOG) in AUEB and in Hellenic Ministry of Development and Competitiveness. His Ph.D. aims in development of: (a) mathematical programming models for realistic operational research problems and (b) computational intelligence optimization methods for large scale optimization problems. His main fields of interest are Operations Research, Machine Learning, Algorithms and Optimization.
