Dr. Maria Mavri is a Lecturer of Qualitative Methods at the Dept. of Business Administration and Researcher at the Quantitative Methods Laboratory at the Business School of the University of the Aegean in the island of Chios. She is also a Research Fellow in the Management Science Laboratory - MSL where she participates in a broad range of research, consulting and educational activities of OPeR.
Dr. Mavri graduated from the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1998. She obtained a Master Degree in Decision Sciences from Athens University of Business & Economics in 2000 and a PhD degree in Operational Research in the field of Banking Management from the Department of Management Science and Technology from AUEB (2005). Her scientific interests apply in the field of Operational Research; Data Analysis, Linear and non-linear Programming, Optimization, Survival Analysis, Banking Management and Customer Relationship Management. Maria has presented her research work in more than 17 international conferences and she has published over 5 research papers in scientific journals such as Omega, International Transactions in Operational Research (ITOR), International Journal of Consumer Studies (IJCS). Dr. Mavri is has also been employed as a Research Officer at the Observatory of Greek Information Society, in Athens, Greece.
