Dr. Eleftheria Kostika graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a BSc in Mathematics in 1997 and an MSc in Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Eleftheria also holds a PhD in Financial Engineering under the supervision of Professor Apostolos Refenes from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She participates in a broad range of research and consulting activities as a Research Fellow of the Financial Engineering Research Center (FRC). Also, she works in the Risk Management Department in Bank of Greece as a Risk Analyst. She is a member of ADEX.
Her current research interest lies in the field of Risk Management and financial econometrics and focuses on the deriving the distribution of exchange rates and interest rates using higher moments.
