Dr Dimitris Zissis is a graduate from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Athens and he holds a M.Sc. in Statistics and Operations Research from the same Department and University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Management Science and Technology at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
His research interests lie in the field of Game Theory and its applications in Operations Management, especially in Supply Chain Management. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Dimitris received a scholarship from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Athens, as a reward for excellence in his master’s studies and a Fellowship for his PhD studies from the MBA International (AUEB). Moreover, he has participated in various Greek and EU funded research projects.
During his studies, he served as a teaching assistant for the courses “Production and Operations Management” and “Enterprise Resource Planning Systems” at undergraduate, Erasmus and MBA level programs of AUEB, achieving outstanding evaluations (4.68 out of 5).
Dimitris is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Supply Chain Modelling at the School of Management at Cranfield University and a Research Fellow at the Operations Management and ERP Systems Center (OPeR) of the Management Science Laboratory (MSL) at AUEB.
