Dr. Dimitrios Psychoyios holds a PhD in Finance from the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics & Business (2006). He is also a reciepient of a BSc Degree from the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1999), an M.Sc. in Decision Sciences with specialization in Financial Engineering (1999). His doctoral research has been funded by ADEX and a scholarship given by the postgraduate program in Decision Science of AUEB. He has been actively involved in all consulting, research and academic activities of FRC. He is currently in charge of the FRC Dealing Room. In 1997, he was honored by Greek Mathematical Society for outstanding performance in the field of Mathematics. His current research interest lies in asset pricing, hedging and risk management. Part of his research has been published in international scientific journals (Journal of Risk Finance, Journal of Futures Market) and it has been cited by authors like Frank J.Fabozzi. He teaches "Advance Trading Strategies for the Dealing Room" and "Project Finance" at the International MBA of AUEB.
Dr. Psychoyios is currently a Lecturer at the Manchester Business School and a Research Fellow at the Financial Engineering Center (FRC) of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
